The CitiPower Centre at Junction Oval establishes Victoria as a national leader in elite cricket, uniting high-performance training, community participation, and civic engagement within a fully integrated precinct. Delivered through a $40 million redevelopment, the project redefines cricket infrastructure beyond the single-stadium model, expanding accessibility and flexibility across all levels of the game.
Recognised as a transformative project for Victorian cricket, providing a permanent, world-class home for the sport. The precinct consolidates international-standard training, rehabilitation, and administration into a single high-performance facility. Designed for sustainable long-term operations, commercial modelling was integrated into early planning to support parallel programming both day and night. Maytrix integrated commercial strategy from early planning, informed hospitality design briefs, operational frameworks, financial modelling, and operator procurement to support precinct-wide activation and long-term viability.
Commercial infrastructure was structured to ensure activation across both elite performance and wider civic programming. Circulation, resourcing, and hospitality layouts were aligned with operator delivery models, enabling efficient operations across match days, education clinics, coaching programs, corporate functions, and community participation.
“We promised to build a new home for Victorian cricket at Junction Oval and we’ve delivered.
The new ground and community centre will provide world class facilities for our elite teams, right through to our grassroots clubs.”

The precinct embeds elite performance alongside inclusive community participation. The National Centre for Diversity through Cricket incorporates the Harmony in Cricket community hub, activating inclusion across schools, community groups, Indigenous programs, and underrepresented cohorts. Education facilities, school holiday clinics, coaching programs, and leadership development activities position the precinct as both civic venue and performance centre.
Establishing Victoria’s elite cricket headquarters, the CitiPower Centre at Junction Oval delivers integrated performance, civic engagement and commercial resilience. Our integrated approach from early planning draws on extensive experience across major and community sporting venues and facilities and expertise in commercial strategy, hospitality design and procurement, directly informing the commercial and operational framework. This structured delivery model secures long-term operational resilience, precinct activation and sustained community benefit.
